Abdl VRChat Models: A Step-by-Step Guide for Custom Avatars

When it comes to custom avatars in VRChat, having the right SDK file and Unity version is crucial. In this article, we will walk you through the process of downloading and installing abdl VRChat models.

To start, head over to the official VRchat website to download the latest SDK file. However, for users who need to use custom avatars, it's recommended to stick with the 2018 version. Additionally, Unity 2018.4.20f1 is the optimum version required for this process.

Before diving into the main installation process, make sure you have the following files ready:

* Unity 5.6.3p1 file

* SDK

Signing into VRChat Unity and downloading the necessary files is the next step. For testing purposes, it's recommended to use the 'GestureManager' included in VCC.

One important note: Please place the Diaper object (which contains shape keys and material settings) inside the character's hierarchy, not under Armature but at the same level as the clothing. Drag and drop the Diaper.prefab into the Hierarchy and synchronize the bones of the diaper and the avatar following the instructions.
